WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY?
11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. Romans 13:11-14
The Bible shows that regardless of your background, race, age, or any other factor, God loves you and desires a true, genuine, personal relationship with you.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
No one is perfect. We have all broken God's commandments. This is called sin, and it separates us from God.
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
That price must be paid. The "wage" or payment for our sin is death, which according to the Bible, is eternal separation from God in a place called Hell.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
If we choose to accept Christ, we do not have to pay the price of death and Hell for our sins because Jesus paid for our sins when He died on the cross and rose again three days later!
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8-9
That is a promise directly from God that if you pray to Him, confess that you are a sinner, ask Him to forgive your sins, and accept Him as your Saviour; He promises to save you and give you the free gift of eternal life.
Accepting Jesus Christ as your own personal Savior is the most significant decision you could ever make during your lifetime. Instead of being destined to hell, salvation assures you of an eternal home in Heaven where you will spend eternity with Jesus Christ.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9
16 For I am not ahamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:18
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Matthew 10:22
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17
12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
16 He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16
9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:15-16
